yeah, getting normies to spin up with own worker is going to be the hardest thing. I was trying to recall all the steps that I expect people to take:
OG expectations:
- have a domain
- host a website and blog
now with blygger:
- spin up your own worker on cloudflare
- figure out how to post, possibly use AI to make your own frontend
- somehow get AI integrated into it.
- Discover people to follow
I'm hoping AI lowers the barriers sufficiently that people are inclined to at least give it a go.
There definitely feels like there's a here here with Blygger. Though distributed anything is rough for normies — needs a Bluesky-style frontend for that perhaps.
But it hits this nicely:
"Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue."
protocol adopter go brrr
Early protocol adoption is the new early adoption.
